COOMBE PARK HELICAL STAIR
Originally conceived as solid oak treads, Joe and architect Nick Eldridge worked together to develop the concept in a way that would reduce the overall weight of the stair but still maintain the lovely end shape of each tread.
This helical oak stair, hung from brass rods is a fitting centre piece to an award-winning contemporary home and is an extraordinary feat of engineering and craft.
Winner of the prestigious Manser Medal and 'Large House of the Year' at the British Homes Awards 2017.
Architect: Eldridge London
